Jarvis Cocker lobbing baby bells at Judy Finnegans face - with moving eyes and teeth - was genuinely one of the barmiest and best things I've ever seen on tv. Shooting Stars was essential viewing in its pomp, an absolute hoot.

We've spent ten years being proved right about all the things the loudest, biggest voices in the UK media insisted, often obnoxiously, we were wrong about. The real kicker is that there's no consolation whatsoever in being correct. Brexit, Putin, Johnson, Truss, Trump, Twitter, Netanyahu etc etc...

Not a clue what the hell this performance has been from City but the complete lack of any application/desire/effort requires some explanation from the club. A pathetic surrender that - and the result actually flattered us too #mcfc
