Recent research in New Zealand shows that Long Covid sufferers feel let down by the health system:

"The picture painted by participants was bleak with a sense that the world had moved on from Covid-19 and left them behind."

"Some are children who can no longer attend school. Others are young adults who were once thriving and are now bed-bound. Many are mothers and fathers who can no longer care for their own families.

They don’t just need a doctor.
They need multidisciplinary care." #longcovid #mecfs

Each day, we breathe more than 7,000 litres of air. Unsurprisingly, the quality of this air really matters. And given most of us spend a significant part of the day inside, clean indoor air is essential.

Wellington! Some of our Covid aware folks have set up a mask bloc.
This mask bloc can't run without the generosity of donors. Five dollars may mean that a checkout worker can take 5 masks that they can reuse for months.

We are so humbled to have met our donation goal of $500 after only two days after launching our ACA Wellington Mask Bloc donation page. Its so heartening that people believe in this cause so much that they are still willing to donate in a recession. We have set a new goal of $1000.

We support the call to focus on air quality. We need clean air in schools, hospitals, and workplaces to reduce the transmission of air borne viruses such as Covid-19.
