A federal judge just issued a court order banning LAPD from using 40mm "kinetic impact projectiles" (rubber bullets) as a crowd control tool. Black Lives Matter LA and Cangress sought sanctions, saying LAPD violated an earlier injunction. The court order: www.documentcloud.org/documents/26...

Just watched the new Knives Out and I think it's really important you know that the scene in the Seminary's Gym is filmed in the same place Rick Astley filmed the music video for Never Gonna Give You Up.

I saw the window tracery and immediately made my friends pause the film so I could tell them.

NEW: Our reporter visited a potential source’s home, where he introduced himself as a reporter and they had a pleasant conversation.

A few days later, VA Secretary Doug Collins sent out a tweet that accused our reporter of trying to “stalk” the employee.
Our Reporters Reached Out for Comment. They Were Accused of Stalking and Intimidation.
Our journalists reach out to people they’re writing about to ensure fairness. But in this environment, they’ve found their efforts to do so are more likely to be vilified than appreciated.
