This is what we're about - bringing communities together with ownership.

That's because we think communities should be at the heart of politics, not just an afterthought.

To get living standards rising, we need to get energy bills down.

Before recess, over 100 MPs in the Living Standards Coalition called for progressive changes to reduce bills for low- and middle-income households.

Thanks to DESNZ and Ofgem for pursuing this.

To get living standards rising, we need to get energy bills falling.

That’s why over 100 Labour MPs from the Living Standards Coalition have written to @Ed_Miliband.

We're asking him to consider progressive price changes that will get bills down more quickly.

Farage says Reform are the “true party of the workers”.

Give over.🙄

Reform voted against the Employment Rights Bill and now they’re pushing £80bn in tax cuts with no plan to pay for them.💸

Not pro-worker. Not credible. Not fooling anyone. www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/poli...

🏥 Today on #InternationalNursesDay, I want to recognise the incredible work nurses do every single day.

That’s why we delivered a pay rise — with 1,500 nursing vacancies in the East Midlands, action was needed. If we want nurses, we need to pay for them.

Happy Easter everybody!

At this time of year, I like to remember the eternal values that Jesus Christ espoused. Of empathy (Matthew 7:12), forgiveness (Matthew 5:7), and our duty to future generations (Psalm 89).

I hope you all have a great day with friends and family.
