A new Clem & West novel just dropped yesterday, and I am frothing at the mouth. If you're into cosmic horror and secondary-world modern fantasy, you HAVE to check out this sapphic fantasy series by Hiyodori. It's easily my favorite thing on the market right now. I need more people to understand!

*throwing oil onto the fire* you people only ever fight for the right to use the word sapphic on relationships and stories that include a cis man because you know that would be transphobic and misgendering to do that to a trans man

Anyway, can we start a recommendation list of media with butch trans women?
As a big reader of trans lesbian lit I've found some (not enough, but some), and I think it's important to highlight the good as well as complain about the bad.
I'll start, but please do feel free to add on! #samreads

Hey everyone,

I hate to ask for help again, but I think we're really going to need it. My mental illness has made it hard to earn anything for the past couple months, and we barely have enough for this month.

Everything helps! Thank you!

Taylor Swift fans review bombing a trans sapphic book by a trans woman: more likely than you think. Fuck this conservative singer and her equally bigoted fans

Probably why I'm an atheist now, but I never bought the idea that being baptised into the "right" religion made you more worthy of salvation than acting as a good and righteous person (the crux of my mother's and I argument on Pascal's wager: i think actions should matter more than belief)

I'm of French Catholic flavor, so I've always been weirded out by (American) Protestants being big on any sort of predestination. Like what do you mean some people were meant to be rich that's monarchy-type beliefs

Oh yeah I've read the author's previous sapphic HR I was waiting for a next round of HR challenge to fit it into my reading schedule but it's becoming quite busy with queer HRs

Even having read what I consider bad or mediocre books I find it pretty arrogant of me to think I could do better and claim I could (ie writing something good that people would he interest in)

As a reader/reviewer I find it pretty gauche and unappealing when authors devalue themselves and look down their own works but as an author I really feel the pressure to do it so no one set their expectations too high

I desperately need to go to sleep, but please spread this far and wide. Itch.io may not be as big of a platform as Steam, but this is a significantly more aggressive act of censorship.

They're using the queer marginalized artists as test cases to see what they can get away with.
