Was originally going to go into IT/systems analysis, but student affairs was a backup career goal thanks an excellent Dean of Students (miss you JLo!). Lucked out of IT but into a financial aid position and here I am now doing aid administration and light systems work. Best of both worlds!

I came out freshman year of college, I was 18. I’d spent a year struggling with being Catholic, an Eagle Scout, and weird feelings towards guys in my classes before it all just clicked into place

Came out on MySpace when I was 16, before my junior year of high school. My boyfriend and I got caught fooling around by his step dad like a month later and his parents forced me to come out to my parents.

Weird luck!? My usual pub has the Sunflower Showdown on the bar television. Like, it's the one football game I'm actually semi-invested in since I grew up in the Little Apple. Guess I'm sticking around longer than normal today.

Made my bike commute to campus only to have no scholarship checks to pick up. The weather is awesome for cycling though, so silver lining. 😊
