Correction:

Medicare not Medicaid (unclear about Medicaid as this is more dependent on state rules) coverage is expiring.

So the elderly, who also likely struggle the most with physically traveling to an office, will be the most harmed.
Medicaid coverage for virtual visits ends April 1st.

As someone who cares for children that live up to 8 hours away, this is DEVASTATING.

Children, adults, elderly will all suffer.

A new blood test may help doctors determine the type of a #stroke faster and allow them to start safe treatment for people before they get to the hospital, according to a study presented at the @americanheart.bsky.social #ISC25 conference. This could reduce #brain damage and lead to better outcomes.
Blood test may detect stroke type before hospital arrival
A blood test may rapidly distinguish brain bleeds from clot-caused strokes, even before people with stroke symptoms reach the emergency room.
