I’ve finally deleted Twitter👇

Hold whatever opinions you like, but interfering in overseas democracy and inciting violence has to be rejected by right minded people. The biggest power we have is who we choose to allow to monetize us.

In common with millions of others, we have abandoned the toxic environment of Twitter and transferred to Bluesky where we hope our 2,500 followers will find us as we rebuild our profile on a kinder platform. If everyone sang every week, the world would be a nicer place!

What an extraordinary book! Written in 1934, shows how Nazi policies crept softly in with devastating consequences. Poignant description of the 20th century, stark warning for the 21st 😢

Crooked Cross
At its heart a love story, CROOKED CROSS is also an extraordinarily prescient account of the rise of the Nazi regime in Germany seen through the eyes of the fictional Kluger family.

For the last 50 years the richest 1% have been getting richer by more than 400%.

But for the 99% then have only gotten 8% and actually since 2008 the 99% have been getting poorer.

It is time for the rich to get poorer.

Here's a 🎶 twist on Coldplay's thumping #VivaLaVida we're calling "Puppets on a Kremlin String?"

It reflects on the grotesque media spectacle hosted by #Trump & #Vance yesterday at the White House. In solidarity with Zelensky & Ukraine.

There are around 10k private school kids in Edinburgh.

51 have moved to state schools in January.

As I've repeatedly said the effects of VAT on fees are going to be minimal.

For too long we’ve tolerated shoddy roads that aren’t just a nuisance, they’re dangerous and cost families £100s in repairs.

Having secured a record increase in local road repair funding, back my campaign to fix our roads 👉 forms.gle/CeZNaTptH587...

Last month I met Oliver Stech when he led rehearsals & a concert I was in. We also saw him rehearse with his fabulous Boys Choir. An amazing 48hrs, I learned so much from his kind leadership. He is sorely missed, never forgotten.

Be kind, tomorrow is not guaranteed ❤️

For too long, renters haven’t been properly protected against landlords who seek to exploit them.

It’s time to put that right.

Our renters rights bill 👇

🏡 Bans no-fault evictions
🏡 Protects tenants from damp/mould
