Like with using children as bait and eating at a restaurant then kidnapping the people who prepared it, ICE is routinely breaking taboos that have been part of human civilization since before recorded history.

This thing is the budget king if you need a PC controller. Unironically GOAT controller that might be better than whatever you're using now. Actually better than every first party console controller easily.

Very excited for "Why does the left hate AI so much? Is it because they're stupid and don't understand it?" to evolve into "Why does the Right hate AI so much? Do they need tax breaks? What do we not understand about them? Do they have too few sweet kisses from papa?"
Americans are more likely to say AI will have a mostly negative effect on the economy than to say its effect will be mostly positive.

I'm glad @racketmn.com wrote this. I also think the rise of influencers and streamers has forced local journalists to step up, not only in verifying and providing context to disturbing footage, but to double down on distinctive reporting. You can't focus on anything if you're focused on everything.

1. DHS surges 3,000 officers to Minneapolis without doing anywhere near enough prep first.
2. Hundreds of habeas cases overwhelm local courts.
3. Dozens of DOJ lawyers quit in disgust/anger.
4. The DOJ brings in JAGs to cover.
5. A JAG was just held in contempt and fined $500/day for ICE's failures.

This is made more complicated by the fact that this is a JAG lawyer standing in for the DOJ (because most of the AUSAs quit). He was ordered to be a SAUSA, which means saying "I won't do this anymore" is a direct refusal to obey an order, which can trigger a court-martial or other discipline.

Kevin Hassett, a top economic adviser to President Trump, strongly criticized a study that said U.S. companies bear most of the cost of tariffs.

He called the research an “embarrassment” and urged the central bank to penalize the researchers behind it.
