The median income in MN can’t afford a median home.

We need make it easier to build homes close to where people work and want to live. And prevent out of state speculators from driving up prices.

btw - how about fixing healthcare - a huge drag on income!

In Minnesota, it now takes a six-figure income to buy a home
House prices in the state are rising faster than incomes, making homeownership — long a marker of middle class status — out of reach for many.

I'm one of the 86. Cutting off SNAP when it is completely unnecessary is cruel. The contingency funds should be used.
I commend the 86 Minnesota Legislators who are calling on President Trump to allow vital SNAP food assistance to continue for thousands of Minnesotans. Congress already provided contingency funds for this situation, but President Trump has ordered USDA not to use it.

It is cruel and unnecessary for #SNAP benefits to stop, even with a shutdown.

Why is Trump in Asia now?
Why does Speaker Johnson NOT have the House in session to negotiate an end to the shutdown?

The U.S. was primed to develop “clean energy economies of scale more than three decades ago,” writes @aaronregunberg.bsky.social.

Instead, it “doubled down as a petrostate after its fossil fuel industry fraudulently polarized a substantial portion of its population against climate action.”
Big Oil’s Three-Decade Plot to Kill America’s Clean Energy Revolution
In 1988, the U.S. was in prime position to dominate the industry for decades to come. But thanks to fossil fuel giants, China is instead the world’s superpower in renewables.

Congress shouldn't buckle from pressure to grant Big Oil legal immunity from lawsuits that seek accountability for climate change damage.

Thrilled to be recognized my MN Housing Partnership for housing policy leadership.

There is so much more work to do so that all Minnesotans can have a home they can afford in a place where they want to live.

Just tagged along for an hour with @metrotransitmn.bsky.social TRIP agents, who are doing fantastic work improving safety and the overall experience for transit customers. They check fares, answer questions, check stations, and help people get where they want to go.

I signed onto this statement in solidarity with Teamsters Local 320 and Farm Aid because the farm and labor movements are inseparable. We’re calling on the Univ of MN to return to the bargaining table in good faith. Let’s come together and reach a result that respects our workers and our farmers.

Such a hard thing to do, but we have to move forward and I’m so excited to be doing it with Zack’s leadership.
We are proud to announce Rep. Zack Stephenson as our new House DFL caucus leader!

On Labor Day, I’m proud to stand with working families, not the ultrawealthy. The richest 1% of Minnesotans own nearly a THIRD of the state’s wealth. And they just got a massive tax cut from Trump and the GOP. We need an economy that works for everyone, not just the wealthiest few.

Gerrymandering mid-decade as is being tried in TX to bias an election is blatantly wrong. Rs would hate it if Ds were doing it.

Can't we all agree that this kind of thing should be stopped?

TX should stop & Congress should ban partisan #gerrymandering.

Health care is a human right. Today, on the 60th anniv of the creation of #Medicaid & #Medicare, Trump & Republicans are taking us in the wrong direction.

We should be expanding access, not kicking people off healthcare. Everyone should have access to the care & coverage they deserve.

The Trump Reconciliation Bill is HORRIFIC. Should be called the EXPLODING DEBT for our kids bill.

☑️ National debt up by $3.5 Trillion
☑️ Climate debt up by 1B metric tons of greenhouse gases per year by 2035

All for our kids and grandkids to pay back
