This chart is less colorful but it seems to include an aspect of Thermodynamics that is missing from your chart. Ocean Heat Content. It’s a passive element that deserves to be included.
Jim Massa thinks the tipping point was passed in the 1990s , but it looks almost like it was in the 1960s.

We know about Ocean Heat Content, but we haven’t learned the consequences of Thermodynamics and the soon to be open water in front of Thwaites Glacier
Open water and 24 h sunlight creates a recipe for an unprecedented spike.

Dear all,

I'd like to emphasize that we're making catastrophic mistakes at the climate summit.
Many policymakers don't grasp the seriousness of the situation.
Therefore, this brief clarification of what is currently happening with the warming we know about, and the warming we don't yet know about.

I've said for years that there comes a time when it doesn't matter if we hit a BOE, the amount of ice will act as if we've passed a point of no return. The Thermodynamics of Deep Ocean Heat makes any efforts of Ice First-Aid pointless.
Where is the horse?
Someone shut the barn door!
Arctic sea ice volume has been at a record daily low for more than a year. Arctic sea Ice constitutes a latent heat buffer. It has a tipping point, beyond which no further ocean heat arriving in the Arctic Ocean can be consumed by melting sea ice from below. arctic-news.blogspot.com/2025/06/arct...

Climate hoax?
Or Winter Melt Season.
Deep Ocean Heat is here now…actually at least since 1995. Absorbing 93% of all heat and saving our bacon.
But now it’s giving back that heat.
Bigly.
A significant portion of the Thwaites Glacier ice shelf has collapsed into the ocean since May 1, 2025, but the rest will follow suit and eventually collapse completely as early as next year or even sooner.
Global sea levels could rise by 65 cm or even 3.3 m.

What “home-grown fuel source”?
They import 8-9 thousand tons a year, most of which they extort from their former colonies.
Anyone want to talk about the energy needed to process the pitchblend to make that uranium?
FYI it is not carbon-free.
France invested in its own energy as far back as the 1970s and now it's reaping the rewards - that's exactly what the UK is trying to do now, @drsimevans.carbonbrief.org tells @alexisconran.bsky.social.

They've been waging war for decades.
Europe? Less than 20% renewables.
Fossil fuels over 80%. They did not "Go Green".
Our grandparents went into a bar and ordered several pitchers.
We went in for a mug.
Then a small beer.
Now we suck the beer out of the carpet with a straw.
Zombie Fuel.
Lots of disinformation from fossil fuel linked influencers filled the information vacuum after the Spain and Portugal power outage.

Au secours.
Help.
Bulle has been promoting their biofuels as « renewable » , which is a double whammy. Gaslighting is also a fossil fuel.

The greatest warming is along the Siberian coast and in the Barents Sea, especially near Novaya Zemlya and Severnaya Zemlya.

I thought Blue Sky was an alternative to ex-Twitter?
How come solitary confinement for climate topics feels the same?
Why?
We are in hot water.
Literally.
93% of all heat was absorbed by oceans in last 4 decades.
At the same time Big Oil paid the Big Tobacco PR firm to tell you there was a hoax.
Ha ha. You believed them. The joke is on you.
Now?
We facing Antarctic Winter Melt Season, and another Arctic Summer.

Just say No.
#SabineLake, an estuary into the Gulf of Mexico, is at huge risk from a new offshore crude oil terminal, Blue Marlin, that wants to run a pipeline through Sabine Lake & Bessie Heights, a nearby marsh. Construction threatens fisheries & wildlife. An #OilSpill would be devastating! Please ✍️ to say no👇

Great idea
Thanks to a follower suggestion, I've added a visualization showing the mean #Arctic sea ice extent for each summer season (June-September). This can be a way of tracking whether each region is becoming seasonally ice-free.

Swiss media reporting the CICR is "outraged" at the death of ambulance drivers. Quotes theirs.

Rain in the Arctic.
Seriously?
I just watched a YouTube influencer subtly hint that there is a climate hoax.
Seriously.
Don't you realize the effects of heat transfers from the Deep Ocean to the atmosphere?
Maybe you should do your own research on this post.
Seriously.

Oh, never mind.
Friday ice update - #Arctic sea ice extent is currently the lowest on record (JAXA data)

• about 600,000 km² below the 2010s mean
• about 1,010,000 km² below the 2000s mean
• about 1,510,000 km² below the 1990s mean
• about 1,890,000 km² below the 1980s mean

Sea ice chart.
What is a BOE?
Less than 1 M km2.
In the Arctic. This is global.
Is it a BOE in both the Arctic and Antarctic?
Actually that's not the issue, cuz the effects will be very important.
Don't believe me?
Wait a couple weeks.
How about having Deep Ocean Heat trend?
Or not.
Your choice.
Global sea ice area has been at a record daily low since the start of February 2025. The associated albedo loss constitutes an important self-reinforcing feedback mechanism accelerating the temperature rise. arctic-news.blogspot.com/2025/03/arct...
