writing spicy scenes has been interesting. I’m facing a lot of obstacles to writing a quality $€x scene:
- narrative function: an editor will ding me on the fact that it’s just 2 people going at it. I want it to be impossible to delete this scene w/o missing a vital part of the story #writinggoals

The US Govt. is NOT tracking how many American citizens are being pulled off the streets by ICE agents. So ProPublica started keeping track. They found more than 170 incidents .Americans have been kicked, dragged & detained for days without access to an attorney.

just like when I needed a running buddy in my exercise elective in college, I need community for accountability in writing.
social media is responsible for a lot of harm in our world, but it’s also a great way to find consistent, like-hearted community in the writing journey 🧡📙🧶

Since NaNoWriMo’s gone, I’m doing my own thing this year - I’m calling it My November Novel.
No high-stakes budget, no word trackers, no predatory forum moderators. Just me, my document, and a promise to myself to hit 50,000 words before December 1.
