I could go on and on about this exact point.
Short version: When something's grammatically tricky to sort out, I often find I'm presenting the information in the wrong order, or trying to use too few words. So I ask what I truly mean to convey, and then rewrite to those specs.

Sometimes the answer to the question "How should this sentence be punctuated?" is "It should be entirely rewritten."

My theater background taught me to break down dialogue like an actor breaks down a script. Why did the character choose this word? Why do they listen here but speak there? What are they thinking when others talk? This muscle-building approach transfers directly to comics.

These two stretches saved my life lol, they're so gentle but the second one popped my neck back in place after it had been out of joint for over 18 months. Good for hand/wrist/shoulder. They're myofascial stretches and also seem to stave off my migraines. (Obligatory "I'm not a doctor" disclaimer.)

If any of your joints are unusually flexible or double-jointed or you can do party tricks like bending your thumb to your wrist, start strengthening or see a physical/occupational therapist (if you have access) now. *NOW.* Before it's a problem.
