Amazing: MIT researchers revealed how ChatGPT etc are destroying our brains and booby-trapped the report to expose those who want to use AI to ostensibly summarize the results.

I don't know, though, if the DSACEUR, the Atlantic Council, or the NATO Chiefs of Defence are able to overrule the SACEUR

Yeah I see the dependence on the U.S. in thay regard. I just wanted to mention the existing gap between the de facto norm and the de jure rules. Especially since the Trump admin played with the idea of leaving the SACEUR for a european to fill in March.

Well it's not necessarily given to a U.S. General more so to the SACEUR, NATOs military commander. Though this position has been traditionally filled with a U.S. General. But there is also a deputy position (DSACEUR), which has either been filled with British or German officers

Russian forces have been building military infrastructure near the Finnish border, according to recent satellite imagery, in moves that could reveal their strategy for what happens after the Ukraine war.

It’s genuinely worth watching this stuff once in a while if you work in defence and security, or govt policy circles. It’s clearly raving madness but it’s what Russian people are being conditioned with every day, and have been being so for years now.
Russian propagandists are discussing the best way to destroy Europe: with nuclear and missile weapons, or with gas and chemical weapons.

This and it drives the public debatte forward. Also helps to further develop the publics and the political perception toward defence not only being a question of military hardware
