I mean, geez, all those previous Republican shutdowns hurt their brand so much that they now control all branches of the government.

I'm listening to the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy BBC radio play and for some reason up until literally now I never realized the radio play came first, and for some reason that strikes me as even more impressive than just writing the book?

Look who came up the driveway this afternoon!!!! You've never seen me grab my camera so fast. Unfortunately, I had to shoot through a dirty window in low light, so it's a bit fuzzy. Still! Lynx!! In my yard!!! Look at those big fluffy paws! 🦊🌿

Look who came up the driveway this afternoon!!!! You've never seen me grab my camera so fast. Unfortunately, I had to shoot through a dirty window in low light, so it's a bit fuzzy. Still! Lynx!! In my yard!!! Look at those big fluffy paws! 🦊🌿
I love these Telo trucks. They're like pugs - they went so hard for ugly that they circled all the way back around to cute.
We are going to going to reverse engineer our way back to making Kei Trucks.

Last year, our lemon tree died (victimized by gophers). Today, we planted a new lemon tree, along with a Catalina cherry tree.
It occurs to me that planting trees could be seen as an act of pure optimism, because it's tacitly acknowledging that you still believe in the future.
