Never in my life have I seen something more repulsive than what Trump and Vance just did to Zelenskyy in the Oval.

Lecturing someone who is defending his country from a brutal dictator while siding with Putin at every opportunity.

Just absolutely shameful in every way.

I can't stand bullies. President Zelensky is now trying to stand up against two of them. We should have his back. #SlavaUkraïni

A Call for Compassion: What We Can Learn From Our Animal Friends
It’s that time of year when we’ve had chance to recharge our batteries and spend time with family and friends, creating memories to take with us into the year ahead.

Why did the BBC shut down Marina Gibson on Saturday Live when she was talking about salmon farming? It was just starting to get interesting!

Archbishop of York, Stephen Cottrell, has no place in the Church of England or our Parliament. Failing to report a prolific sex offender to the police makes him an enabler. He must resign now.

It's so important that music is inclusive. There are no auditions for my community choir and all are welcome. Singing is so good for mental health, and many people with dementia love listening to music or singing.
"Inclusive practice is best practice" - John Kelly. We agree! 🎯

NEW! OUT NOW -'Music is a passport to freedom' - we chat with our guests about the power of singing for #mentalhealth & #wellbeing

Please don't buy farmed salmon 😢
Atlantic salmon are incredible migrators, but in factory farms salmon can suffer greatly from being kept in overcrowded, barren cages, where they swim round & round in circles.

I'm in full support of the Guardian/Observer journos striking today for the future of The Observer, threatened by The Scott Trust’s plan to sell to Tortoise Media. No logic behind the decision, while The Observer risks becoming a stripped-down website

Today is the Observer’s 233rd birthday. And the first of 4 strike days. I grew up in South Wales in the shadow of the miners’ strike. Extraordinary to be joining a picket line outside what I believed was my liberal progressive news org all these years later.

We’re so grateful for your support & ✊

The Face of Extinction

There are 372 North Atlantic Right Whales left. Of these only 96 are breeding females. They are critically endangered.

Because of recent Supreme Court rulings oil companies could soon begin sonic blasting along New England Coast, the summer home of the whales.
