We needed to do Woke January 6th a decade ago. There is no meaningful or effective opposition to any of this until people start arming themselves against a federally funded paramilitary that is invading cities, disappearing people, openly and without remorse executing citizens in broad daylight.

All things considered despite coming out on the other side “Babylon bad” and being incredibly (but justifiably) harsh to Chazelle on this episode: I’d rather watch Babylon poop and puke all over itself that another Marvel movie by this point.

Once again, we’ve got to get real here. Elizabeth Warren is considered the second most progressive member of the senate and her answer is yes to more funding with restrictions. The ICE budget has already increased 350%+ under Trump. Dems have absolutely zero interest in abolishing ICE.
