Trump and his regime must perish for liberal democracy to survive. There is no way around this.
The rot emanating from him and his people is a stronger challenge for the free world than all external enemies.

Does the president have the constitutional authority to deploy active-duty forces domestically, free from the constraints of the Posse Comitatus Act?

If and when the Supreme Court considers this question, the answer “should be an emphatic ‘no,’” writes @chrismirasola.bsky.social.
Confronting the Protective Power
The president’s theory of constitutional authority to deploy active-duty troops is more dangerous than the government’s briefing suggests.

The President called for the murder of Congressional Democrats.

Congressional Democrats should call for his immediate removal or resignation.

Congressional Republicans should condemn his statements and call for him to recant them.

It's the very least they should be doing!

Repeat after me.
I will not allow people to excuse police departments because the feds are worse.
The feds are only worse because the cops laid the groundwork to begin with.
Without the hysterically lax attitude around police brutality and corruption, we wouldn’t be here.

Before the midterms of 1866, President Andrew Johnson called his congressional opponents traitors and said they should be hanged.

Voters were so profoundly moved by his words... that they gave his opponents a supermajority in Congress, and the nation got the Fourteenth Amendment.

The Epstein files are about so much more than the disgusting, criminal dealings of one man.

They're about how the rich and powerful are rigging our entire system to give themselves money, cover, and influence.

Buying elections. Warping our economy. Subverting justice.

Enough.
