Because of budget cuts, our department is firing some of our best educators, in some cases lecturers who have been here for more than 10 years.

Spoke to a formerly NSF-funded researcher and a former NSF program officer about the changes to the NSF re: disinformation.

They were clear: studying disinformation doesn't cause censorship, but censoring research causes censorship.
