I'm probably more sympathetic to this argument than 95% of Bluesky: the DoJ shouldn't be sharing the dirt they have on people they aren't charging with crimes. But the blame belongs with the Trump campaign, which campaigned on releasing the files, then cried when Congress called their bluff.

For a few years I've been wondering who's going to be the next Messi for me, a player I have to watch whenever I can, bc something impossible happens literally every single game. Turns out it's not a soccer player, it's Wemby.
Seems like one low-cost, equitable social contract could be realized in public education: remedial classes get a student-teacher ratio of 10, AP classes get 60. Seems like the smart ones would not need as much individual attention?

I understand why people are exhausted by AI hype, and why those of us squarely in the corner of "human dignity uber alles" see AI doomerism as self-serving hype, but I *really* think people on the left broadly need to start thinking seriously about the possibiltiy of the hype being...true.
