Everyday should (and can) be a day to remember who’s missing from the dinner table, the barstool, the family couch. I echo the Governor’s words. My novel “The Love Cycle of a Cicada” honors the families of the missing.
On POW/MIA Recognition Day, we honor the service and sacrifice of those who went off to war to defend our safety and freedoms, but never came home.
We honor them by keeping their memory alive and by continuing to search for the answers their loved ones deserve.
