This doesn't bother me tbh. It's what we deserve. I've always hated patriotism and symbols like this or the flag. Our country has always been a joke - destroying education for decades, money ruling, etc. We've always been so arrogant as we invade other countries and destroy them. This is symbolic.

5 years ago we had a global pandemic. We could have learned from it and helped each other more. Instead, price gouging is the norm, late-stage capitalism got its grubby little fingers in everything, we're less tolerant of people and more filled with hate. Humanity will, and deserves to, die off.
