DOGE has reportedly gained access to sensitive NLRB data — including info on union activity, workplace complaints, and names of organizers.

Coincidentally, the NLRB has multiple lawsuits against SpaceX and Tesla.

The conflicts of interest just keep getting more blatant.

«One of the biggest ways governments have affected wages over the past decade has been by taking power away from workers — and then by giving some of it back.»
Wages as a share of national income were falling until the Labor government passed the first of its IR bills.

Since then the wages share has mostly been increasing.

Wolt couriers are employees and not freelancers. This was decided by Oslo city court yesterday. The court points to them being subordinated their employer and in need for protection. Wolt says they haven’t decided whether they will appeal.

I was just told that I have to remove “climate” from the title of an ongoing grant if I want to keep it. And publications from that grant cannot include “climate” and other forbidden words. I can’t believe I’m writing this from the United States of America. #AcademicSky
Just received an email saying that it's not advisable to include the following words in future applications for research funding to the US DOT. Here we are.

Forskerne som var viktige for at EU fikk et minstelønnsdirektiv forklarer hvorfor ikke alt håp er ute for direktivet, selv om Generaladvokaten mener at det bør annulleres. Direktivet er så langt ikke ansett relevant for Norge.
Last week the Advocate General of the ECJ had published his "Opinion" to annule the #EUMinimumWageDirective, which would be a desaster for Social Europe. But it's not all over now! See my latest column with Torsten Müller (@etui.bsky.social): www.socialeurope.eu/eu-minimum-w...

Next year, most EU countries need to draft a national action plan on collective bargaining.

One way of increasing the coverage of collective bargaining is through multi-employer or sectoral bargaining
