Your daily lesson that saying something over and over again won’t make it true. The Trump/GOP budget bill would rip health care away from millions, raise costs, result in lost care and jobs at rural hospitals - all to give more tax handouts to the ultra-rich. This has to stop.
An outright lie from OMB Director Russell Vought.

Hi everyone - my name is Kristen Crowell and after spending a decade advocating for tax fairness for our friends and neighbors in states all across the country, I’m taking the fight directly to Donald Trump and his out-of-touch allies in Washington.

Get on the list, get ready to fight. This is still the land of the people, not the land of the billionaires!!
Taxes affect every issue; if the thing you care about requires investment, someone will ask "how will you pay for it?"

By taxing the rich.

Well, isn’t this so on brand for them. Seems like Trump 2.0 is just going to be another round of giveaways for billionaire at our expense.

Deja Vu as we head into GOP lead chaos and grifting.

If the government shuts down Saturday, the richest man in the world will be largely to blame.

You may not get access to services you depend on just before the holidays because an unelected billionaire shadow president wanted it that way.

If this isn’t oligarchy, I don’t know what is.

This!!

We need to draw a line in the sand: either you’re on the side of working people or helping the rich get richer.
Trump next year is going to try to pass a multitrillion dollar tax cut for the richest people in the world.

Democrats need to make it very clear that we're the party that stands on the side of working families.

If we’re going to take on Trump, Republican extremists, and move our country forward, the Democratic Party needs to be stronger. I'm running for Chair of the Democratic National Committee to unite the party, fight everywhere, and win. Join me. 🧵

When Trump promises another tax giveaway for the rich, the rich pony up. The ROI for them is clear and Trump Tax Scam 2.0 will more than pay them back.
Striking shift in GOP donor base - top 400 donors now provide over 60% of GOP funds, nearly double 2020 levels.

Both parties are far too reliant on mega-donors. But the GOP is now on another level. (1/n)

The 2017 tax law gave trillions in tax cuts to billionaires and corporations while leaving working families behind. Now, Congress must fight for tax fairness for everyday Americans. @lindsayowens.bsky.social on today's Senate Banking hearing: bit.ly/40XUSTk ⤵️

From 1989 to 2019, the bottom half of wealth holders saw their net worth remain unchanged. During the same time, the top 1%’s wealth grew by nearly 300%.

The American people are sick and tired of getting ripped off. We need to tax the rich!
