Hey writer friends - does anyone use Buffer’s free plan for scheduling social media content? If so, what do you think of it? I used to like Planoly, but they’ve gotten rid of their free features and most of the others are too pricey right now.

One thing that throws me right out of an alien/sci-fi romance story is when a non-Earthling character freely uses Earth measures of timekeeping, such as hours or minutes (particularly when they’ve never set foot on Earth). My brain goes off on a long astronomy/math tangent immediately.

This was in response to something Emma Barry posted but it goes for all of you romance authors who are struggling and yet still managing to write stories built on hope and love and optimism during a timeline that doesn’t give us cause for much of that. Thank you all from the very depth of my heart.
Ridiculous and silly books are more important than ever right now. They give us a temporary respite from a terrible reality and that’s not nothing. So thanks to you and to all the other authors who are able to put pen to paper (or fingers to a keyboard) and use your imagination to carry us all away.
