50 year mortgages. 15 year car notes. It’s like rent to never own. How is any of this sustainable?

It’ll never leave me, the Republican Democrats that successfully made this guy toxic with the tag “Bro”.
Sanders: That is a totally meaningless gesture. You can get 100 votes here and it won't mean anything because the House is not going to take it up.

Every single vote for them was a Republican vote.

Reminds of Canada in a way…
Dems emerging from 2 hour caucus meeting saying they are unified on next steps on shutdown

“We’re unified on how we’re moving forward,” says Sen. Duckworth. “The key part of it is health care and taking care of our federal workers.”

“What we’re going to say, we’re going to be unified behind it”

So it turns out that airports in the US are deeply dependent on money from the federal govt and they basically can't exist without it. Socialism, man. It's where you least expect it, but you should expect it because private businesses don't fund shit. Taxpayers do.

The news that Lethbridge police got away with stalking, harassing and threatening Phillips because the chance of conviction was too low is an indictment of the entire justice system in Alberta.

Isn’t it already like this? I’ve had a mortgage for 20 years and have no prospect of paying it off in the next 20 years.

In many respects, this is the most harmful budget from a climate perspective since the Harper era, writes Hadrian Mertins-Kirkwood
Oil and gas trumps climate action in brutal federal budget
The budget makes clear that fossil fuel production for export is a central pillar of this government’s economic strategy — and that it won’t let climate measures get in the way.

It’s really important that #Vancouver’s Downtown Business Association, who were originally against bike-lanes, are now among their most vigourous supporters, because of ACTUAL EVIDENCE that they’re better for downtown business than any street parking they replaced.

Safe bike-lanes mean business.
