My english DNAngel special edition finally arrived… I’m impressed with how closely Yen matched the special foil textures of the orig sp edition! :0 that can’t have been easy… and the color pages were kept too!
it also appears to have been retranslated to include honorifics :D Yaaay

the more grotesque and overtly queer (as in kink, as in morbid, as in racialized, as in disabled) even my "frivolous" character art becomes, the less I feel that nagging "pointless" feeling. it's doing something (for me) even in its indulgence. maybe you need to scream before being silly. so scream.

maybe you feel art is pointless right now because its not saying how you're feeling. maybe you need to make something ugly, something sad. maybe you need to donate your skills to local organizations, zines, to see your art in community and praxis. it's never pointless. but you (can) make it pointed.

It's cruel. It's an incredible escalation of their anti-trans culture war. And there is still a chance to stop the provision in the Senate, so if you have a trans person in your life you care about, I implore you - make your voice heard with your Senators. Both of them. Republican OR Democrat.

Rhode Island friends - this is a book-ban-by-another-name bill that has slid under the radar. Written testimony due 4/23 by 2pm. H5837 would require parent opt-in to sex ed. Opt-out already exists. This is an attempt to prevent LGBTQ+ inclusive curricula for all students.
