As someone who works in the education field for 20 years, yes teachers do deserve respect. They're the backbone to our future. Teachers along with parents are the ones who raise our future leaders.

Thats a direct violation of people's rights to protest. If "some" get out of hand like violate a law, thats where the police step in to do their jobs appropriately. The whole idea about the right to protest is to be disruptive but, in a non-violent manner.

They didn't issue a correction until after 2:00pmET today.

Radio-Canada apologizes after it aired a photo circulated by anti-trans hate groups online, falsely claiming it was a photo of the Tumbler Ridge shooter. Damaging and irresponsible, and this apology raises more questions about journalistic process imho.
