My final point is that the fearmongering WRT trans people is absolutely fucking stupid. Trans people are such a small percentage of the US. Most of these people go most of their year not interacting with a trans person. They don't know trans people. Trans people largely do not affect their life.

So far on my luddite operation of not using streaming services is going well. I really enjoy listening to music as albums and it's fairly natural if you select the right albums that you remember being good in their entirety. OR you try something new that might be. It's ok to skip songs.

I really do like the John Oliver show but my YouTube always auto plays to reruns. I’m considering blocking the channel just so I don’t have the eternal churn of depressing news recap shows vs being able to watch it intentionally when I want to. I wish I could interrupt my algorithm.

My life isn’t super different without subscribing to any services (I can’t afford to) but socially people get really mad at you or don’t want to let you participate in playing things or doing things if you’re on free tier in social settings.

Shocked ppl at Halloween that my hair is in fact not naturally black again. I am almost going to go back to red (because it's dubious at best to dye your hair without a home). I haven't seen myself with red hair in like 2 years, it's gonna be weird.
