this is a big deal + huge step for transparency! most companies keep their code private/proprietary, but bc ours is public, you can literally see every implementation (how we make buttons blue, how mute lists work, etc) & what we're working on at any given moment

We’re working on an open network for algorithms that essentially means anyone can create one. Then you’ll create or use the one that fits your vibe. Won’t need to be a programmer but devs will be able to get right in there if they want.

we’re a small team, working as hard as we can, juggling multiple priorities to build a usable social app at the same time as a decentralized social protocol. we chose to do this hard mode (both protocol and product) so we could show, not tell, that the AT Protocol works. thanks for kicking the tires

We generally call this the "trust graph" and it covers a lot of topics:
- Is this person really who they claim?
- Can we trust this person to behave well? (ie not spam mentions)
- Is this person recommended for something or uniquely credible?
