Don’t believe everything you read online.

Time for some honesty in the heat pump debate.

These are looking very similar recently. Something I do not like. The Met should be a step above a broadcast company.

A chilly 4° in Zeebrugge, Belgium this morning. Fortunately light winds but pleasant in the sun for once

Winter is over

It’s official, the cold blast is dead and buried. Yet another example of models performing terribly. They now all agree it’s wet and average temps going forward. We will have to see if the spilt vortex amounts to anything but the more we go into Feb with longer days I doubt it will mount 2 anything

I don’t see much snow coming from this cold event unless we lock in colder air. As always hovering within 3-5° so not ideal. Obviously time to change but not many runs going for anything other than an average cold brief interlude

There is an increased chance of seeing the aurora tonight

The best odds across northeast Scotland where skies are looking clearer. Keep your eyes on the northern horizon! 👀✨

A messy setup out there in the SE currently. Sleet mostly in Kent but I suspect snow is falling with favourable heights. Unlikely to settle with the amount of rain falling and dew points not ideal.

I declare winter over in Ashord

This is what drives me mad. How can one show dry and one show wet across a 5 hour period. @metoffice.gov.uk @bbc

@aidanmcgivern.bsky.social evening Aidan, just watched the @metoffice.gov.uk deep dive released today. Great watch, excellent imagery shown and a balanced review of Thursdays snowy event with a brief look at Sundays potential battle with milder vs cooler scenario. All eyes firmly fixed on Fri dive.

metoffice playing silly buggers with their app again. At no point today have they forecast and rain or snow in Ashford. And yet 1 hour after snow passes through they sling on a snow symbol 🤣🤣🤣

Just putting the Christmas decorations away and saw this item striking a lonely figure. Not been used in the 9 years since I bought it for my son in the hope one day he may get to slide along on it 😂😂
