The Trump admin is now actively stopping people from GIVING FOOD to SNAP recipients.

Tougas Farms was forced to change a planned food giveaway after receiving this threatening USDA notifice to authorized SNAP retailers that they are not allowed to give free food or discounts to SNAP recipients.

Every time I consider becoming more involved with the City Committee, more garbage comes out. It's so frustrating.

And all the time, all Worcester hears is silence.
We have arrived at the stage of the campaign where a Democratic State committee member & a Worcester Democratic City Committee member calls the only Democratic female twice-elected City Councilor a “pig”.

My alma mater Holy Cross in full PR mode as Worcester starts asking about HC buying up College Hill and Rotmans.

Not saying they don't contribute to our local economy, but we have to talk about the endless expansion.

Clearly the Research Bureau's report didn't mean anything to Tony Economou. Here's his verbatim response at tonight's candidates forum.

"The DOJ report was 'just a bunch of words on paper' ".

What a disappointment. The Ballpark Commission is voting tomorrow morning on an application to use one of the free "community days" at the ballpark to host an "active shooter exercise".

This is the first reference to present day conscientious objection I've seen in mainstream media.

Can National Guardsmen deployed to US cities claim conscientious objection?
Some veterans view National Guard deployments to U.S. cities as unlawful and argue soldiers better uphold American values by resisting the orders.

Worcester is again among just a few cities choosing to hold it's Preliminary Election the day after Labor Day. Sept. 16 is the preferred date elsewhere.

Isn't the 9th or 16th far better for turnout?

Anyone know why Election Comm. went w/ day after Labor Day again? City Mngr and Mayor concurred.
