This. Pretty sure there are no “rules” about how to feel in these situations. Let people process. It’s not that easy for some people to just “forget” something they have cherished. No one owes anyone anything.

i am struggling to feel present. everything feels abstracted or distant. it’s not numbness. it’s genuine exhaustion from disbelief in the conditions globally that US empire sustains with militarism, policing and fetishizing modern computer processing technology.
