One thing I'll give Xenos Rampant: it's made me actually enjoy list building again. For one, it's super easy. But also, it's just neat to play around with the different combinations of abilities to try to get a model to perform like you think it should. It actually makes me excited to play again.

Played this scenario over a couple of days with the 9yo between other chores and commitments. Two sides were fighting over control of an asset with VPs scored if you could escort it into your area of control. Kid says he likes having objectives because it gives him something to focus on. #Battletech
