Two sides were fighting over control of an asset with VPs scored if you could escort it into your area of control. Kid says he likes having objectives because it gives him something to focus on. #Battletech

To give the vehicles and protomechs some purpose, they would score 2 VPs each for getting into the enemy deployment zone. 1 VP per Orc killed. 2 VPs for the first Demolisher, 5 total for both.

This was a custom scenario to better grab his attention. 300 BV. 5 Orcs, Blood Asp , Mad Cat, Thor, and Loki vs Atlas, Awesome, Devastator, King Crab, and 2 Demolishers. Any player with a mech next to the tower at the end of the turn gets 1 VP. No any mechs means it's 2 VP.

Some Alpha Strike this morning. I've been trying to go back and forth between this and CBT because I want the boy to have a feel and appreciation for the mechs in their own right but also get chances to enjoy big battles that just aren't practical in CBT. #Battletech #Wargaming
