The question isn't, "Is it justified to take bread when you are hungry?". It's, "Is it justified to hoard bread when others are hungry?".
(The answer is, "No. No it is not ok to hoard. The hoarding is killing us all").

It's wrong to think the Epstein files are a separate issue from affordability.

The argument is easy: Trump is raising prices on ordinairy people, while taking bribes right out in the open to make himself richer.

HIs connection to a wealthy pedophilia ring illustrates his greed and depravity.

In the year 2025, the number of US billionaires is 867.
They possess $7.6 trillion.
If we ate them and divvy up their collective assets, every American would receive a little more than $22k

I'm not saying you have to make a decision on it now.

Just think about it.

Anyone who’s ever used emergency contraception or gains peace of mind by even having it on hand owes Dr Camp a debt of gratitude. What a force.

(Also, I just learned one reason the FDA rejected it at first was that they said the name Plan B was too glib!)

Great obit—no paywall.

In 2025, 40% of American women aged 15 to 44 say they would move abroad permanently if they had the opportunity.

The current figure is four times higher than the 10% who shared this desire in 2014, when it was generally in line with other age and gender groups.

At the same time the NY Times was hyping Hillary Clinton's emails, it had a reporter with emails from Jeffrey Epstein that were highly damaging to Trump.

The more NYT apologists try to minimize this the clearer it becomes that they don't understand why much of the public doesn't trust legacy media.

For years, people argued that there's no point in taking climate action unless China is onboard. I'm at a COP30 event where Chinese government officials and renewable industry reps are outlining the fast-paced renewable energy transition and long-term carbon neutrality plan. The story has flipped.

Everyone who is tempted to write a minimizing headline like this, take a beat and remember: if this is the worst stuff out there, then there's no reason not to release the full Epstein files.

Trump is covering up for a reason. Don't be complicit.

Epstein wrote that Trump knew of sexual abuse but didn’t participate
That account, included in a new tranche of documents, conflicts with Trump’s denial of ever knowing about Epstein’s solicitation of underage prostitution before Epstein’s 2008 plea deal.

Reminder that Starbucks’ CEO made 6,666x more than the company's median employee in 2024.

This was the widest CEO-to-Worker pay gap in the entire S&P 500.

And we're supposed to believe Starbucks can't afford to bargain a fair contract with its unionized workers?

The level of billionaire ass-kissing in this email is off the charts.

THIS IS WHY we don’t want to center our society around billionaires.

Every billionaire is a policy failure and a threat to democracy. Look at this shit.

Important to understand the Epstein stuff and the fascism and the corruption are, in a lot of ways, really all the same story from different angles: powerful men who can and do abuse vulnerable people around them because they can, and because systems of elite accountability catastrophically failed
