Been thinking about something that’s been popping up lately online—of paying someone to write w/ you for an hour on Zoom. If you’re an emerging writer, please be careful. There are writers’ groups in your communities & online that offer free sessions for writers to gather together. Do your research.

"We must read intentionally, but more than intentionally, I want to read radically"

As I want to be even more intentional with my reading, indigenous books are part of my priority list this year.

Thank you @netgalley.bsky.social & @tantoraudio.bsky.social for providing this ALC #booksky

I loved Brit Griffin’s newest novel, The Haunting of Modesto O’Brien. It was published by Latitude 46 Publishing and it’s set in Cobalt in the early 1900s. If you’re a Northerner, or even if you’re not, you need to read this mysterious gothic tale. @lat46publishing @river_street_writes

When a poet dies,
on cold American streets,
the alphabet falls apart,
letters losing sense of themselves
in this litany of tyranny;
language cannot hold its weight.
