Spoke to folks in Kharkiv and Kyiv - people are freezing to death while being bombed daily for hours. It’s a humanitarian crisis. Tweets of “how incredibly strong Ukrainians are” and “prayers” aren’t enough. They need help. Now.

During the Soviet era, at times of govt instability, the state broadcaster would typically preempt scheduled broadcasts by airing performances of Swan Lake
And, tonight, the network's flagship news program -- 60 Minutes -- ran a clip show of old celeb interviews to "celebrate the movies" rather than put together an episode focused on what's going on in Minnesota.
The person who publishes the Free Press — where the words “Minneapolis” and “Minnesota” never appear tonight — also runs CBS News.

I agree with Jamie - I been thinking for several weeks that there needs to be a general strike across the country in combination with de-funding, laws/rules, etc. Really though, ICE needs to be ripped apart and start over.
Raskin: "I think the people have Minnesota have shown us with their mass demonstration and general strike the direction that we may need to go in nationally in order to send the message that American society does not accept this authoritarian derailment of the US Constitution."

Nine people have died in ICE custody or during ICE operations in 2026.
Every one of them mattered.

Call Congress. ICE should NOT be funded.

This is absurd to put all of those CBP agents involved in the murder of Alex Pretti back onto the streets already.

They pose a very real, proven danger to the community.
CBP chief Bovino has confirmed that the officers who executed Alex Pretti in the street yesterday are not only *not on administrative leave,* they have all been reassigned to other jurisdictions and are all on the street today.

This is totally unheard of for any officer-involved shooting

Sarah's entire thread is a GREAT rebuttal that proves the pure hypocrisy gold that is Kash Patel.
A thread of MAGA protesting with guns and not getting murdered for it...

Minnesota National Guard members have arrived at a federal building and were directed to distribute donuts, coffee, and hot chocolate to anti-ICE protesters. Guard members were issued reflective vests so they would not be mistaken for federal agents.

Where are the national media on the assault of a Democratic Congressman?

"...Park City PD identified the assailant as Christian Young in an email Saturday night. Mr. Young “assaulted Florida Congressman Maxwell Frost and a female who was attending the private event,” Ms. Snelson said."
If Nancy Mace was assaulted by a Biden supporter, it would be a week-long news cycle and every Democrat in Congress would be asked if they approve or disapprove

A reminder to the news media: “conflicting accounts” is what you say BEFORE the incontrovertible video evidence appears. After that, your job is to ask why one side is lying, not to repeat the lie and pretend no one knows the truth.
