Sis, I'm gonna trust you on that. It sounds like a train wreck followed by a dumpster fire. Ta-Nehsi is the Jame Baldwin of or our generation and there's a brand of liberal that can't handle that Black folks are in consistent pain and under relentless assault no matter who's in office.
Started listening to the Ezra Klein and Ta-Nehisi Coates convo and tbh so far it's worse than I thought it would be.

My comfort movie is the Runaway Jury. I’m always confused as to why no one clocked John Cusack’s character, particularly since he was living in a very expensive apartment in the French Quarter even for 20 years ago while working a retail job.

The “no tax on tips” part of the GOP bill is a total joke. It only applies to $25,000, is only for voluntary tips, isn’t received until you file taxes, only explicitly lists food service and beauticians for who gets the deduction, excludes married people filing separately, and expires in 2028.
