We’re a nonprofit newsroom, I think Mississippi Public Broadcasting is still a nonprofit newsroom, and there’s a newsroom in North Mississippi that is a nonprofit newsroom. Maybe I’m not understanding the word nonprofit.

These people were outside, screaming at us at one of my favorite local watering holes before an incredible drag brunch. We were inside having a TIME! I’d bet least 25% of us had just left a Christian church and I bet my pastor and I got at least two people to come to my church. As for them….

Remember there are a number oh Black owned brands at Target that might go out if business if we completely boycott. Most of these folks aren’t corporate. They’re small to medium size brands that depend on Target to keep the doors open. At the very least they need a year to rework their strategy.

It’s the 117th Founders Day for THE first sorority for Black women founded at Howard University. I’m a proud life member, legacy and chapter member of Pi Zeta chapter. If I had to do it all again, I choose Alpha Kappa Alpha every time.

He was a Christian, a nuclear engineer who like many southerners had trouble saying the word “nuclear”, a veteran who promised his wife a life of adventure and then decided to leave the Navy. I think she got her adventure and travel as First Lady. Thank you for being moral and decent.

This is Oreo. They were very angry when I moved in. I now provide water and a Sunday meal so we have a truce. They do have a Dominoes note to file that says, “Hissing cat.” We had a strongly worded discussion about their behavior.
