VCs don’t create conglomerates, but they fuel them. Startups chase exits, often tailoring plans to fit Big Tech & corporate buyers. Investors want liquidity, corps want power—innovation takes a backseat. Is this just capitalism, or can we break the cycle? #startups #venturecapital #privateinvesting

Once again Trump lashing out when he doesn't get his way. He doesn't actually care about ending the war, he only wants the recognition to feed his narcissism. (And plus some minerals). We stand with Zelenskiy and Ukraine.

Since we have chosen to elect billionaires in office, the existence of trickle up economics has been made abundantly clear. Glad people have voted us into an oligarchy...wait isn't that the reason we left England?
Trickle up economics.

Did you know? EBITDA was hyped in the ‘90s to make unprofitable tech companies look better. Knowing EBTIDA doesn't help business leaders make informed decisions.

This. It's important to understand and know the nuances of your business. Build a sturdy foundation early on without worrying about perfectionism at each stage of the business
Before diving into perfection, test your ideas on a small scale. Start with quick prototypes or minimal versions. This helps you see if it works in the real world without getting stuck in overthinking.

Small steps bring clarity, while perfectionism can just slow you down.

Grateful for Trump and all the plane crashes that have occurred since he has tried to "reform" the FAA.

Yeah, this is *totally* him clearing out the swamp and corruption.

Its like his supporters didn't pay attention in history class or even worse they did and don't care.
Elon Musk is requesting all the IRS data so he can see all the taxes everybody has paid.

One of the first things the Nazis did was go through Social Security data and find everybody who had never worked.

They then murdered every disabled person who hadn't.

Wild that people still think that these bros are cleaning out the swamp.

We keep talking about the resilient consumer but frequently omit the fact that American credit card balances and default rates are the highest in over a decade.

If consumers are spending more than they can afford to pay back, is the consumer really that resilient?
Just in: The US economy grew at an annualised rate of 2.3% in the fourth quarter. It was a weaker than expected end to a year dominated by the resilience of American consumers on.ft.com/40UGQBx

I’ve worked a lot with the Episcopal church through out my professional career. Their support of the LGBTQ community spans decades, well before other religious institutions. As an atheist and queer person, I find myself thankful for their unwavering support during these times

Recent attacks on DEI programs deepen systemic inequities, leaving underrepresented founders with fewer resources to thrive. Economic inequality is rooted in racial discrimination—eliminating these initiatives risks widening the wealth gap for marginalized communities.
