I know there's a lot going on, but the Secretary of Homeland Security declaring that federal troops are in California and Los Angeles to "liberate" the state and city from its duly-elected leaders really is a fourteen-alarm fire.

Visiting Australia. No gun violence. Sydney feels very safe, even in the middle of the night. It makes me sad that we choose to live with gun violence in the US all because the 2nd Amendment has been so manipulated to cater to the gun rights lobby.
