I agree with Yashar: The United States is not authoritarian and is far from it. We have some leaders who wish it were and we have capitalists with far too much influence but we’re far from true authoritarianism.

It’s not Cena losing the match, he’s a purist - he was going out on his back… it’s the anti-climatic nature of it, weird retirement tour, botched heel run, Gunther not needing the run and the way he tapped was not executed cinematically which I think is what they were going for.

Mine also include The Matrix, Blair Witch, and being way too stoned in Belgium when Fellowship of the Ring was sold out so we sat in the back row for Mulholland Drive instead.

It was hands-down one of the most memorable theater-going experiences I can remember, a collective 30-minute butt-clench/armrest-grab for the final climb. And we knew he lived! Wild.
