Well, Gretsky is recognized as a Trump Maggot by many. He’s more American. So, Canada didn’t have a representative either
The US, Mexico, and Canada are hosting the World Cup.

Did anyone notice there wasn't a single Mexican superstar on stage at the draw today?

Tom Brady, Shaq, Gretzky, and Heidi Klum.

Maybe someday, Americans will want to become a social-democratic country like most of the other developed countries. It's not a perfect solution, there are problems, but it's a lot more affordable and enjoyable than what your present and foreseeable future holds.

Funny- I was just thinking how much of a turkey I am for watching
I’m Canadian. Our thanksgiving was weeks ago. There’s no hockey tonight

This is definitely the type of AFC game everyone on the verge of slipping into a turkey coma was hoping for

Worse, Trump & co. are going after many thousands of Afghans because of a single crime by 1 Afghan.

Maybe all the Trump family for generations will (should) suffer because of the crimes of Donald
A sad irony in Washington, D.C., where West Virginia National Guardsmen were shot today. Six days ago, a court ruled their deployment was illegal, but stayed the order pending appeal. My heart goes out to these public servants and their families. oag.dc.gov/sites/defaul...

A new global system is emerging.

The USA is no longer the unquestionable leader in a unipolar world.

Perhaps a USA-China bipolar world will not be accepted either.

Perhaps we are moving towards a multipolar world with a few major powers (US, China, India, EU) and several middle powers.

Snyder's post is long, a little complex but accurate. If you are a world citizen, please read it, carefully.
World leaders certainly will.

INMO, few individuals know more about the history and current circumstances of Ukraine and Russia than Professor Snyder.

The leaders of the democratic world are presently meeting to discuss the Russian war in Ukraine.

The 28-point Russian 'peace' plan is taken apart and destroyed very well by Tim Snyder. No country can accept any part of this propaganda, not even the USA.

Those who can must read Snyder's post.

David Frum stated, "we may discover that post-American world is not just a topic for think tanks and seminars—it may be our reality, and it may be a lot less pleasant than the world it replaced."

IMO, this is something about which we should contemplate and concern ourselves

Your thoughts?

From Foreign Affairs:

"Were Canada, Germany, and Japan to acquire nuclear weapons, they would rebalance global military capabilities in favor of a coalition of states committed to the rules-based system and to stopping the erosion of its key norms, especially territorial integrity."

Totally impressed!
I just read the messages from the PMO.

These statements from PMMC, the King & Queen of Sweden, and the PM of Sweden are comprehensive and involve complex collaboration.

The world needs this level of leadership and cooperation.

The republic can break, but it need not. Those who work against the grifters, who reinforce the reality beyond the bubble, are doing right. They are not only holding back authoritarianism, but giving the republic a chance.

Thanks, Tim Snyder

Canada has had a longstanding commitment to the international rule of law. To state that those with the guns get to decide what is legal or illegal would mean the mob have won.

Like the Nazi inner circle, Göring was a genocidal murderer, but what set him apart was his narcissistic decadence and endless capacity for stolen riches. He may have been an incompetent military leader, but he was a supreme criminal boss.

Göring would have felt right at home in Mar-A-Lago.

He's on the witness stand of public opinion.
The more he talks, the more he reveals how guilty he is.

Dear Donald, keep talking...
This may be Trump's perfect social media post. A true work of art. He confirms:

✅He personally directs criminal investigations.
✅He is targeting opponents.
✅Epstein "records" exist and he knows the contents.

Bonus points for connecting it to investigation of his fondness for Putin.👀

Prime Minister Mark Carney @mark-carney.bsky.social wished King Charles a happy 77th birthday.
In a congratulatory message he says, "His actions serve as a reminder that leadership, at its best, is rooted in humility, curiosity, and a deep sense of responsibility to others."

I’m sure his views on climate change have not altered. What has changed are global policies that are negatively affected by Trump & co bullying tactics and limitations.
Smart leaders must accordingly adjust strategies and timing .
Two things can be true at the same time, Canada.

1. Yes, I’m disappointed with some of Prime Minister Mark Carney’s approaches so far, particularly around climate action, and his definations of “nation-building.” We should expect better.

2. Carney is still light-years better than Pierre Poilievre.

MAGA never had any intention of dealing fairly with Canada. Mr. Hoekstra is here to monkey-wrench trade and to gaslight our officials. He fails the most basic test as an ambassador and must be recalled.

Again Charlie nails it.
