These women have completely transformed civic life in my community and continue to do amazing things like this over and over again.
Today was the period drop at Neighbors, Inc. I don’t even feel these photos do it justice. But you’re looking at $12,000 and 1,303 pounds of pads, tampons, incontinence pads, cups, and other assorted hygiene gear.

In Minnesota, drivers are required to stop for pedestrians at BOTH marked and unmarked crosswalks. Here I am at one of my least favorite streets, 50th, at one of my least favorite intersections, 50th and Aldrich. Let's see how long it takes for someone to follow the law.

The lack of mainstream coverage of regular huge protests reminds me of a talk from a Twitter employees who explained that they had to drop BLM off the Trending Tags section because otherwise it would have been there permanently. The modern media environment has no appetite for sustained movements.
