Time is funny. Today a picture came across my Memories that causes a flashback every time. It was the worst day of my life to that point. I had no idea how much worse it would get - or how much better the good could be. I thought I had it all and my world had ended. If I only knew.

I don’t know how I ended up with a ton of people who don’t know me at all reading this, but I’d like to introduce you to hyperbole.
I have: 2 mixer bowls, 5 bowls with lids I bought as a set, the kitchenaid spiralizer, a food processor, and a normal amount of spatulas.
HYPERBOLE. NOT HOARDING.

From pouring the sugar into the pan for the salted caramel to taking 5 pies out of the oven, I will have spent about 4 hours baking tonight. Fortunately I own every kitchen gadget known to man and approximately 11,000 bowls and spoons/spatulas so the process was relatively easy.

Because I can’t share it with him, I will share this incredible recipe that I found with everyone here. He would have loved it and also probably suggested some horrific “improvement” that only he would have enjoyed. I just miss him so much.

The maintenance guy told me to make a donation to a local food bank instead of paying the lockout fee. I get a double discount at my grocery store job through today so I’m going to buy their urgent needs because my money will go further than theirs.
The problem with a first floor apartment is that I walk out of the patio door and lock it behind me and then I’m locked out of my apartment and it costs $50 to get back in. Cool cool cool.
