Physicians for Reproductive Health (@prh.org) published resources for health care workers to prepare for ICE or law enforcement presence at their facility:

"It is our collective duty as health care providers to do everything we can to protect our community members, regardless of immigration status"
Resources for Providers to Prepare for ICE Presence at Health Care Facilities
With health care settings vulnerable to immigration enforcement actions, it’s time to get prepared.

I am Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology
AND Board Certified in Complex Family Planning
I am a Texas #abortion expert
Some might say, I’m THE Texas abortion expert
I oppose SB31/ HB 44
Why?

It was special to meet with @murray.senate.gov alongside the amazing physicians I spent the day with to advocate for the HEAL Act, Protective Sensitive Locations Act & Stop Shackling Pregnant People Act.

We can't all move ahead if we don't protect the basic human rights of immigrants in the US
Trump & Republicans’ attacks on women’s health are making it harder for women to get the reproductive care they need in all corners of our country.

I met with doctors from @prhdocs.bsky.social to hear how they're adapting to these new barriers.

was invited to read this by @adriennemareebrown.bsky.social as pre-reading for a restorative justice training. as we consider how we go on, it was a loving reminder to let the way we show up individually be what transforms us in community. “healing is the victory” www.yesmagazine.org/opinion/2022...

Holding ourselves accountable is the first step toward true healing, which is the victory we should all be working towards, says adrienne maree brown.

disrupting the way we show up, organize, use our body power, use a collective voice… that’s the point. even through the grief and grief and grief, stick together. move as a community.

This violence against Palestinians and the land is unfathomable. Free Palestine means the people AND the land. The two are always together.

The point of solidarity is that no one person can do it all alone. Stake out what you're gonna do & have your friends stake out their turf, too. Share information, watch them from all sides, and act strategically together.
We need to keep our focus in multiple places at once.

We need to protest the horrific atrocities unfolding,

AND we need to remember that they want our attention away from (as someone in my mentions aptly put it) the thieves in the treasury.

We can hold both.

Reminder: "Sometimes, 'bearing witness' feels like the only thing we can do, but the relentless consumption of suffering and injustice does not change anyone’s material conditions. folks with disabilities make things better. why? we know how to be in networks of care, how to consider who is most impacted, and we’re funny and resilient as fuck.

ableism is a ploy to silence the growing power of our community.
