It’s horrifying. Clearly he has an inkling of what a thoroughly rotten person he is.
“Requires more firmness than I enjoy” is so sinister, so creepy, so nauseating, so disturbing, I’m having trouble finding words for it but absolute nightmare fuel

Guys, I hate Megyn Kelly as much as the next guy, but these quotes and videos circulating of her supposedly saying that raping 15-year-olds is okay is - although not flattering to her - extremely heavily edited. Edited enough that it makes her sound like she was saying something she wasn’t. Stop it.

Imagine a world where revelations about a cabinet member’s drug use isn’t buried under stories about the president’s rapist party pal.

“mass deportation” trauma from this era is going to be a scar that’s with us for a long time
“With immigration agents under intense pressure to deport thousands of people each day, Ms. Lopez was pushed through the system swiftly and was deported within four days of the factory raid.
As a result, Jorge is now cared for by two siblings who are barely adults themselves.”
She Was Deported in Error. Her Child Was Left Behind.

All else aside, please remember: This isn’t a political win; it’s a tragedy for god knows how many girls were violated, beaten, raped. It’s sickening.

AOC: "It is unconscionable that what we are debating right now is legislation that will give 8 senators over $1 million a piece & we're robbing people of their food assistance & healthcare to pay for it. How can we vote to enrich ourselves by stealing from the American people?"

While upset with Senate Dems continues, this is an important reminder that it is Donald Trump who decimated medicaid & ended the ACA subsidies and it is Donald Trump who will do whatever it takes to decimate, if not completely destroy, the ACA.
Why is Trump going after America's air traffic controllers, today of all days?

It's one more way to distract from his decision to increase your health insurance premiums."

There will be another 60 vote Friday* on the garbage shutdown deal. If we can convince just one Senator from the 52 republicans and 8 Dems that voted yes to flip, we could still stop this. Please jump on the phone today, call them, and share this widely.

*If all goes by the regular schedule

SCOTUS ruled that homelessness is a choice. Now the President says that poverty in general is a choice. These are absolutely certainly people who have no idea what indigence is. Poverty is the hardest job in this country. NO ONE would choose it.
Trump claims that food stamps "puts the country in jeopardy. People that are able-bodied can do a job, they leave their job because they figure they can pick this up, it's easier."

To those pundits who think only BlueSky “radical” types are onto Schumer: CNN just released a poll showing that among Democrats nationwide, SellUsDownTheRiverChuck is the least popular Senate leader in over 40 years (the chronological extent of their data).

He literally has no concept of what it means either to work overtime or even more importantly, go for more than a month without a paycheck. And the idea that Biden’s administration was less competent than his own? No words.

The average SNAP benefit per month is $177 a person.

The average ACA benefit per month is up to $550 a person.

People want us to hold the line for a reason. This is not a matter of appealing to a base. It’s about people’s lives.

And working people want leaders whose word means something to them.
