It's not because of immigrants, trans people, the “deep state,” or any other bogeyman trotted out by the GOP.

The Congressional Budget Office estimates mass deportation will cost at least $88 billion a year. And according to Bloomberg, undocumented immigrants currently pay about $100 billion a year in taxes.
I’m not seeing the economic benefit of this plan. All I see is mass human suffering.
