A heck of a chart: in every single one of the 10 major US cities that built the most housing between 2017 and 2023, rents for older, existing units fell—often by quite a bit.

Oh good, you proved it is very American so it doesn't matter that Trump is doing it whatever he likes despite breaking both international and American law.
Left out the Iran coup of 1953 when the democratically elected PM of Iran Mohammad Mosaddegh was overthrown in a coup d'état orchestrated by the CIA and the UK to protect the interests of their oil companies the Iranian arms of whom were facing nationalization

Was it legal or illegal? How would anyone who employs a cadre of lawyers even know the answer?
The U.S. capture of Venezuela’s president, Nicolás Maduro, has drawn wide-ranging reactions. Many Venezuelans celebrated the leader’s ouster. Opponents of the military operation called it illegal, with Americans taking to the streets to protest what they called an act of imperialism. trib.al/woauLUf

Oh, it's "Obamacare" again now that Trump is raising premiums.
Many Americans covered under the Affordable Care Act are seeing the cost of their insurance more than double, after Congress ended 2025 without acting to bring down costs.
With Obamacare’s Higher Premiums Come Difficult Decisions
As enhanced subsidies expire, many Americans covered under the Affordable Care Act are having trouble paying for insurance.

Yes, this is good. Do the good thing and use the money to pay for services please.
Washington families with income in the bottom 20% pay a whopping 13.8% of their total income in taxes.

Those with income in the top 1% pay only 4.1% of their income.

That’s untenable. Let's pass a Millionaires’ Tax in 2026.

I'll even complain about the driving way finding, I'm just have that much to give!

I saw no signs on approach that identified the transit garage.

Getting where I needed to go required me making three correct guesses.

I guessed right, but it's kind of not the point.
